Hillside Christian Academy, Inc., was founded by Mrs. Brandi Haynes in 2016. Mrs. Haynes holds a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education (Grand Canyon University), a Bachelors Degree in Human Services with a concentration in Early Childhood Education (Springfield College), and an Associate of Science Degree in Early Childhood Management (Hillsborough Comm. College). Mrs. Haynes has over 20+ years of experience working as an Early Childhood Professional in the areas of: Child Care Center Founder & Operator, Center Director, Early Childhood Training Facilitator, Lead Instructor, Substitute Teacher, and Mentor.

Alongside Mrs. Haynes is her husband Maurice Haynes, Sr., a Chief Petty Officer (CPO), 20+ year Naval Veteran, and Aerographer's Mate (Meteorologist). On the civilian side of things, he works as a Department of Defense Contractor with Venator, LLC., assisting the military with global operations. Additionally, Mr. Haynes is also a Mobile Instructor with the University of Hawaii-Hilo, where he teaches Hurricane Awareness courses. As a 2014 graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Mr. Haynes earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautics with a minor in Aviation Safety.

Ms. Erica is one of Hillside's FUNomenal Teachers. She is a native of St. Petersburg, FL, and enjoys cooking, reading, listening to music, and spending time with her family. She's most fulfilled when seeing the excitement on the face of a student who has finally mastered a new concept for the first time. Ms. Erica holds a Bachelors Degree in Political Science (USF), an Associate Degree in Elementary Education (SPC), and a CDA Certificate (Child Development Associate). She is also working towards the completion of an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education (SPC).

Mrs. Haley is one of Hillside's Superior Substitute Teachers. She enjoys spending time with her husband & family, collecting succulents, and capturing those special moments working her photography business. Mrs. Haley holds an Associates degree in Elementary Education (SPC) and is currently working on her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (SPC).
